Raquel holds an Economic degree from the Autonoma University of Madrid and a Master Business degree in Finance management, and has completed Woman leadership studies (Aliter, sponsored by Rafael del Pino Foundation).

She was chief of Financial Department of a local IP  firm in Madrid from 1994 to 2001 when she joined Abril Abogados. Raquel is head of the Financial Department of the firm, founding member and partner since 2015.
